When Dr. Lois Kaufman founded Integrated Marketing Services (IMS) more than 30 years ago, she had a vision: create a truly inter-disciplinary company where marketing experts – market researchers, public relations, advertising and creative professionals, brand marketers, market planners and others – would work together in teams, all devoted to client success.
Her idea was realized with the full evolution of the global marketing company, Integrated Marketing Services, which includes:
- IMS Marketing, the global marketing communications company, which has worked with clients ranging from Fortune 50 corporations to start-ups to create effective branding, public relations, advertising, crisis management, sales, and many other types of marketing programs.
- American Opinion Research (AOR), our wholly-owned, full-service marketing research company which has conducted research projects throughout North America and in more than 30 different countries, including in Europe, South America, Central America and the Far East.
- Environmental Research Associates (ERA), one of the first research firms created to help companies, associations and organizations understand their environmental image, needs and priorities and develop specific marketing strategies, messages and communications programs.
The synergy between the experts IMS has assembled ensures every client has a specific team to meet its individual needs, regardless of their size.
A key addition to the IMS team was CEO Anthony M. Casale, a two-time Pulitzer Prize nominee and winner of the Robert F. Kennedy Award for Excellence in Print Journalism. Casale was Director of News Research for USA TODAY and then Research Director of Gannett Co. Inc. before moving to IMS.
