For one Fortune 10 company facing a threatened shutdown by the Food and Drug Administrators, IMS conducted research among key audiences (using American Opinion Research, our wholly-owned market research company) which IMS used to develop decision-trees, messages and strategies based on possible scenarios. We then implemented the crisis management program, including managing media relations, internal communications, even placing an IMS staff member full time in the client’s headquarters until the problem blew over.
